How thick are the Lifters?

The metal is .071" thick. They do not block the light panel.

Isn't the flexibility of Titanium going to make my foot wobble?

When your stance is wide and your feet are engaged with the Lifters such that the outside of your shoes are at least skimming the metal or grip tape on the Lifters while positioned comfortably underneath hard 95A plastic pads and you're able to apply lateral leverage when and where needed to maneuver the board, you can expect the material combination to not only reduce foot fatigue but also provide shock absorption. The amount of flex provides a similar feeling and response as that of a snowboarding binding.

Aluminum Lifters

Why are these discontinued?

Due to the weight and other properties of the GT, or the XR with aftermarket parts installed, we deemed the original aluminum model unsuitable for the GT. Due to variable XR weight dependent upon the rider's setup, we decided to stop production of the product in aluminum at the end of 2022. There may be a new model released in aluminum in 2023 with a different design.
